Welcome to the Cape Horn Speedway! This track was set up in 2007 in response to the closure of the commercial slot car tracks in the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR area. It’s purpose is to keep alive the commercial style slot car racing in this area. It is a club track not a commercial track so we don’t charge for track time or racing. But being a club track located in a private residence we are not run on a daily schedule. Click on the "Events Calendar" link on the menu to the left for hours and days of operation. How to get here! All slot car enthusiasts are welcome but need to contact me via the email address or phone number listed below before showing up. Skunkworx About the Track. The track shown above is a 65 ft Bowtie Red 6 lane flat track. This is the track where all of the racing has been conducted up to this point. It uses a 75 amp power supply with a 1F BatCap and SRT race director system. We have a 1/32nd scale track under construction as well.
